Orbitarion is a tick-based space MMO strategy game for iOS, Android, and web browser. If you grew up playing Planetarion or Planetia — the classic browser space strategy games from the 2000s — Orbitarion is built for you. Planetia has been offline for years. Orbitarion brings that genre back to life, rebuilt from the ground up for modern mobile devices.
Every 30 minutes, a tick fires. Resources accumulate, ships are built, fleets move, battles resolve — all simultaneously, for every player in the galaxy. Between ticks, you plan. You research technology, coordinate with alliance mates, scout enemy planets, and time your attacks to land when the enemy is exposed. The depth is real, but a session takes 2–5 minutes.
Orbitarion is currently in open beta. Season 2 is live and running. Join the Discord to get started — pick a faction, name your planet, and carve out your piece of the galaxy. Feedback from early players is actively shaping the game.
The game is free to play with no pay-to-win mechanics. A premium subscription removes ads and adds cosmetics — every competitive advantage comes from skill, timing, and diplomacy.
